The EIC budget includes ZERO funding for Parks and Recreation. Swimming and Tennis facilities used for decades by our community and summer day camp will be eliminated by the EIC.

Police services as presented by the EIC are wholly inadequate. Should more than one incident occur at the same time, or in the event of an emergency, how will we be protected.

The EIC’s claim that local Edgemont control will significantly alter land use decisions in Edgemont is incorrect.

No supervisory staff or clerical staff, inadequate skilled workers and Heavy Equipment Operators, inadequate equipment and the complete exclusion of outside contracting services jeopardize our safety.

The EIC presents an unattainable budget, fraught with loss or reduction of services while generating extraordinary and unnecessary long term, debt, projected at below reasonable market bond rates.

What happens if the EIC’s proposed litigation is unsuccessful? What happens to “parkers” during what will be a protracted litigation?

Although the cost of private sanitation services has become extremely competitive and the EIC projection appears obtainable, there are other factors which must be considered when comparing current services to outside contract services.
