The EIC Report/Budget is not Feasible

Our group, as a voice of opposition to incorporation, has studied the EIC Feasibility Study and budget and have found dramatic errors, omissions, and discrepancies which support our belief that incorporation generates EXTREME RISK, a reduction of service and cannot be accomplished utilizing the budget “numbers” prepared by the EIC. We believe strongly that the EIC Feasibility Study, prepared by the EIC and we feel poorly corroborated by consulting firms located in Ohio and Utah, without the benefit of any contact with the Town of Greenburgh, provides for bare bones and unrealistic staffing/service levels utilizing an unrealistic budget. It is our hope that this information will be reviewed and considered by the community. Please utilize all of the information provided and determine your course of action, related to this extremely important vote.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, THE EIC PRESENTS ITS FEASIBILITY STUDY AS ONLY A MODEL. NO OFFICIAL BUDGETS MAY BE DRAWN, STAFF PERSON HIRED, CONTRACT NEGOTIATED, PROPERTY PURCHASED, LOAN ARRANGED OR GOVERNMENTAL OPERATING DOCUMENT PENNED, PRIOR TO THE ELECTION OF A GOVERNMENT. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO EFFECTIVELY ACCOMPLISH ALL THAT IS REQUIRED, IN ONLY NINE MONTHS. ASSUMING A SEPTEMBER 2018 REFERENDUM VOTE A NEW EDGEMONT VILLAGE WOULD COMMENCE OPERATION IN JUNE 2019, BY STATUTE.
